John Tory The Leader?

If you check the name of John Tory’s fancy new platform, you may notice a strange sentence below it: “Leadership Matters”.

We couldn’t agree that leadership matters, which is why we don’t want to see John Tory elected premier.

What kind of leader is John Tory? His actions speak louder than his words.

- John Tory skipped out on the vote for the Clean Water Act – policy that would ensure that a tragedy like Walkerton doesn’t happen again. The rest of Tory’s caucus voted against it.

- John Tory skipped out on the vote for the Endangered Species Act, despite promising hours earlier to support it. In fact, John Tory’s own environment critic voted against the Endangered Species Act.

- John Tory avoided the media by hiding the day that the Ipperwash Report was released.

- John Tory avoided the media when announcing he would make deep health care cuts.

That’s the type of leader John Tory is – avoiding, hiding and making excuses while letting his caucus vote down important legislation for Ontario.

  1. I think you have a grammar error in the second paragaraph. I think you mean to say “We couldn’t agree MORE that leadership matters.”
