John Tory Watch

We are a concerned group of Ontario citizens who feel that John Tory is going to take Ontario back to the days when Mike Harris and Ernie Eves were running this province into the ground.

Our schools were war zones, labour unrest was rife, our hospitals were crumbling and our most vulnerable citizens were mere lines on a budget sheet subjected to the simplistic brutality of Mike Harris and Ernie Eves’ cruel ideological outlook. The environment was no where on the agenda. Post secondary students had to deal with the largest increase in tuition in over 40 years. Worst of all, with all of the cuts made the deficit of Ontario still went up. Harris and Eves made tons of cuts with no gain. None at all. Bottom line, they were bad fiscal managers.

We don’t want to go back.

We feel that the environment is a priority.

We feel that poverty is an issue we should address, not increase.

We feel that our hospitals should have a stable funding formula.

We feel that our education system should be improved, not ignored.

We feel that a return to the Ernie Eves and Mike Harris years will be bad for Ontario and we feel that John Tory is the embodiment of those years.

We don’t want to go back.
